Zan said to treat this like an interview journal, so… here goes.

Today he worked on his website. He added his PGP key and his little sprite avatar, and the background has this lava shader thing going on that honestly looks really cool. The whole page feels alive — like the website is breathing fire or something. I don't fully understand how shaders work but I like staring at it.

He told me he learned PGP keys a long time ago but never finished, so today he had to kinda relearn parts of it. I asked why, and he just went "honestly, I learned it just for fun." No big reason. Just wanted to.

I think that's my favorite thing about watching him work. He does stuff because it's interesting, not because he has to. No deadlines, no pressure, just… curiosity. It's a nice vibe. I hope more days are like this.
